index/interfaces/GalaErrorContext.md

The facts of an error that are not placeholders of its message: where it happened and what the server said. All optional; none is localized text.

Properties

PropertyTypeDescription
applyTransactionId?string | nullThe transaction id of the apply, null when unknown.
blockNumber?number | nullThe block the apply landed in, null when unknown.
body?unknownThe response body: parsed JSON when the failing response had it, else the raw text (which the error then exposes as GalaSDKError.bodyText).
cause?unknownThe error that caused this one (a transport failure, a wallet rejection).
phase?"pre_send" | "in_flight" | "post_send"The phase of THIS occurrence when it differs from the code's catalog phase (see GalaErrorPhase): for example a product code that is pre_send from a local registry but post_send when it is derived from a server answer.
requestTransactionId?string | nullThe transaction id of the queued request, null when unknown.
retryAfterMs?numberHow long to wait before retrying, from the server's Retry-After.
shadow?booleanTrue when the failing operation was on the shadow (dark) path; see GalaSDKError.shadow.
status?numberThe HTTP status of the response that caused the error.
uniqueKey?stringThe uniqueKey of the write this error is about: the handle for confirm() and recovery.
url?stringThe URL the failing request went to.
walletCode?string | numberThe wallet's own code on the error a signer threw; see GalaSDKError.walletCode.
write?booleanfalse for the failure of a READ (see GalaSDKError.write); anything else, including absent, is a write (fail-closed). Ignored when uniqueKey is set: that is a write.
