const WALLET_CONNECTION_FAILURE_REASONS: readonly ["no_accounts", "user_rejected", "failed"]

Why connecting a wallet provider failed (WALLET_CONNECTION_FAILED.params.reason):

  • no_accounts: the wallet answered eth_requestAccounts with no account;
  • user_rejected: the person declined the connection in their wallet (EIP-1193 4001);
  • failed: anything else the wallet threw (the original error is cause).
