Type alias: ConfirmationState

ConfirmationState = "aborted" | "timeout" | "failed"

Where a failed CONFIRMATION of a queued write stopped, as a closed set a screen can switch on:

  • aborted: the caller's own AbortSignal ended the wait (CONFIRMATION_ABORTED). The person or the screen gave up waiting; the write may still land, and its uniqueKey is still the handle.
  • timeout: the wait ran out before an apply result arrived (CONFIRMATION_TIMEOUT). The write is still pending as far as anyone knows.
  • failed: the apply-results read itself failed or answered something unusable (CONFIRMATION_FAILED, CONFIRMATION_MALFORMED, CONFIRMATION_KEY_MISMATCH).

All three are unknown to classifyFailure: never submit again, confirm the same key.
